Versace Announces "Unique" Smartphone
Versace has announced their first touchscreen smartphone, the Versace Unique, which claims to incorporate all the features for professional and personal use. The 3G phone also offers email client, media player and powerful 5-megapixel camera with flash.
Versace, in collaboration with ModeLabs Group, have launched their new Versace Unique smartphone. The Versace Unique is the company's first luxury touchscreen and full-featured multimedia phone that will be sold through exclusive watch and fine jewellery networks and Versace flagship boutiques worldwide early next month.
Hand-assembled in France, the phone's face is constructed from high-tech ceramic or handmade lacquers delicately framed with an 18K yellow gold finish or 316L grade stainless steel inlay. The back is wrapped in handcrafted leather and embossed with the Medusa head.
Its sapphire crystal screen is the largest single piece of high-tech material ever produced for consumers,. The screen is impossible to scratch, yet provides users with smooth control on the touchphone interface.
Internally, the Versace Unique features advanced technology created by LG. The 3G smartphone comes with e-mail client, media player, 5-megapixel camera with flash, as well as Dolby Mobile surround sound technology for high quality audio.
Pricing not mentioned, but it definitely won't be cheap.
