Premium Smartphone maker Vertu launches a special new Vertu Ti Colors Limited Edition device. Ironically for a device named colors, Vertu’s new phone comes in only two flavors, Midnight Blue and Sunset Red (a so-called Galaxy S4 will soon be available in over half a dozen colors). What makes this phone extra special is that only 1,000 of these babies will be made and sold, with each unit carrying a unique number telling you which among the 1,000 do you own.

Vertu Ti Colors specifications:

  • 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 SoC
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 3.7-inch Sapphire Screen
  • 8 MP Camera
  • 64 GB Internal Storage

Can’t seem to spot the beauty mark, am I missing something?

To own one of these new sturdy beasts from the “100% independent” phone making company, you will have to sell an arm, a leg, a kidney and some more. The handset costs a mind-boggling (and eye-popping) HK$90,000… That’s a $11,700 folks, enough to buy two cars. Engadget reports that the new Vertu Ti Colors has been already gone on sale and was spotted at the company’s Hong Kong Airport store.
