Viewsonic unveiled today its newest high-end monitor, the LED lit VX2770Sml.

The monitor comes with an IPS panel and can pump out full 1080p resolution via HDMI, allowing for crisp and clear images when watching movies or playing games.

“Our new VX2770Sml-LED display offers the best combination of performance and features in the industry, and we’ve sweetened the deal by packaging it up in a beautiful frameless bezel design,” said Brian Huang, Sr. Product Manager at ViewSonic in a press release. “And with MHL connectivity, this display provides mobile device convenience in a large screen format for consumers, gamers, and multimedia enthusiasts alike.”

Viewsonic’s new screen also supports the MHL connectivity protocol. MHL stands for mobile high definition link, and allows users to connect consumer electronic devices like smartphones, digital cameras or tablets directly to the monitor to display content without the need for a PC. An avid mobile gamer could connect their device to the monitor via MHL in order to game on the bigger screen. Devices will also be charged when connected to the monitor via MHL.

The VX2770Sml is now available from retailers in Singapore for a price of $499 SGD.
