VueCube 4GTV broadcast trials starts

Vue Networks has announced the commencement of their VueCube 4GTV broadcast trials over 4G network in Singapore. The trial will start with multiple channels including 24/7 streaming, VOD and 3D content broadcasting over the ZiiMAX high speed 4G network.

Vue Networks, a regional content creation and media technology company based in Singapore, announced today the commencement of VueCube 4GTV Broadcast Trials over 4G network. The trial will be bringing the concept of TV Anywhere to Singapore.
 
The 4GTV Broadcast Trial follows the awarding of a Niche IPTV License to Vue Networks by the Media Development Authority of Singapore. The Broadcast Trial will kick-off with multiple channels including 24/7 streaming, VOD and 3D content broadcasting over the ZiiMAX high speed 4G network. ZiiMAX is the 4G WiMAX service of QMax Communications Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd.
 
With MIMO technology, 4G WiMAX offers wider coverage and enables smooth content delivery. The objective of the VueCube Broadcast Trial will be to assess and finalise the technical infrastructure necessary to provide consumers with unrivalled entertainment on the move.
 
The public will be able to get a sneak preview of VueCube’s 4GTV on Creative’s ZiiO tablets exclusively at the Creative PlayChinese Expo from 11 to 20 March at Creative Resource.
