Wahoo Computers Custom ATC-201 Modded Case
Today we bring you a review of a custom modded Cooler Master ATC-201 case by the guys at Wahoo Computers. Fully painted and customized, this is the case we took down to Quakecon earlier this year. Can the guys at Wahoo put together a great looking case that you would be proud to display? Come and have a look for yourself.
Most people wouldn’t quickly associate a die hard Chicago Bears fan standing shirtless at a football game in freezing temperatures with a computer nerd that puts hundreds of dollars into their computer case; but they do have one thing in common: they’re enthusiast in their own respects, pursuing their hobbies with atypical zeal. A growing segment of the computer industry has been that of the PC enthusiast, the crowd that not only tweaks their hardware for optimal performance but also customizes their PC for a unique look that can be shown off to the masses.
Enthusiasts can mod their PC’s by simply putting a window on their side panel, or totally re-doing their PC from top to bottom, equipping it with glow cables, silent fans, neon lights, etc. But, some of the most hardcore work should be done by skilled professionals. Like their car-modding counterparts at West Coast Customs (from MTV’s Pimp Your Ride), Wahoo Computers is a company that specializes in custom computer modifications, ranging from custom auto finish paint jobs to hand made case additions, Wahoo is at the forefront of the growing high-end custom computer modding industry.
Today we’ll be taking a look at a case we brought down to Quakecon earlier this year, a custom modded Coolermaster ATC-201 case by Wahoo Computers. Complete with a custom paint job and countless additions to both the exterior and interior of the case, it is by far the most stunning computer case I have ever seen. Come with us as we take a closer look at one of Wahoo’s most impressive projects yet.
