New details emerge indicating that Microsoft may launch the Xbox One a week before the PlayStation 4 debuts in North America.
Microsoft hasn’t announced a release date for the Xbox One yet, but it was generally assumed it would be along the same time Sony releases the PlayStation 4, which is November 15th in North America. Today, a source who works for a marketing agency that deals with signage for retail giant Walmart shared an email with Kotaku which mentions November 8th as the release date the Xbox One.
As you can see from the image above, while the titles have a confirmed status next to the date, the Xbox One does not. This might mean that Microsoft hasn’t yet zeroed in on a date for the release yet. Microsoft did announce last week at Gamescon in Germany that by the time the Xbox One launches, a total of 22 titles will be available for the console.
