Images of Chinese phone maker Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship, the Xiaomi Mi3 surface online. The successor to the Xiaomi Mi-2S is said to pack 3 GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch 1080p display.
Xiaomi is among China’s most popular Smartphone makers, and with good reason too. Their phones, the latest being the Xiaomi Mi-2S, are of high build quality, offer a unique software experience and are priced reasonably as well, especially for a powerful and high-end flagship device. The company’s new flagship, the Xiaomi Mi3, will take the game
one a couple of steps higher by offering a whopping 3 GB of RAM and a big 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display, a huge increase over the 4.3-inch Xiaomi Mi-2S.
Rumored specifications of the Xiaomi Mi3 include the powerful Snapdragon 800 or an Nvidia Tegra 4 SoC, a big 3500 mAh battery, a new version of MIUI (popular Android skin), a 5 MP front camera and a 13 MP rear shooter.
While Xiaomi isn’t particularly popular or well known in the west, the company stands among the very best in China, where it sells its phones like hot cakes (yum!).
