The battery indication LED's for the smaller unit lights up in sequence rather than all at once too.

i thought at first u mean plugging the ipod connection mah. hahaha.

but not sure whether it works or not, even by plugging to the usb.

the smaller external batt has USB ports. If your phone allows USB charging, then its ok.

The larger external batt is not that big. Its something like half of your A4 size paper. its a 9 cells batt, thus that can mean additional 90 to 120 mins of usage on your laptop (depending on model and usage)
