 | To be fair, same product is selling at 70 EURO. which is almost 110USD and 150SGD.
Usually I don't complain, but Creative is a SG company. |

 | Can anyone tell me any good alternatives to this at around the same price point? |

 | i wrote to them regarding the higher launch price in Singapore.
1. first they said the lower prices are not offered by their authorised dealers, so consumers take their own risk. Creative has no influence over 3-party re-sellers. Fair point.
2. i then pointed out that even the Creative USA website is charging only US$59.99. Almost 20% discount to Singapore's SGD 99.
3. they replied : You may wish to understand that there is alot of factors affecting the difference in prices due to different customs and regulations in imports and exports for each regions, taxes and the limited warranty applies.
4. i don't think i have the energy nor patience to counter that no way Singapore has higher taxation, shipping (from China), or more stringent customs and regulations as compared to USA. Besides, they aren't offering us longer warranty here.....
Marketing bad, PR also bad......so what if u have a better product than Apple.
It would be so much easier if they answer with these two lines in their email without promising anything: We appreciate your understanding, and are certainly thankful that you have taken precious time to bring this matter to our attention. (and add: Rest assured that we will try our best to enhance our Singapore consumers shopping experience with Creative)

 | USD59 only about SGD80. Yet Creative is launching it at SGD99 in SG.
Even Singapore company also screw Singaporeans. |
