Intel is preparing a performance IGP chipset for Montevina mobile platform next quarter supporting the new 45nm Intel Core Duo T9000, P9000 and P8000 series. Intel GM47 Express chipset will be the highest end mobile part clocking at 640MHz for the integrated graphics while the GM45 Express chipset clocks in at 533MHz. Both chipsets are based on the Intel GMA X4500HD graphics that enhances HD experience with native HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support. Intel GM47 chipset delivers up to 2X the performance in 3DMark over the GM965 chipset and has broader DX10 game compatibility and support. Read More >>

yea of cus alot big or small server is using raid 5

good point of raid 5 is

Highest Read data transaction rate

Medium Write data transaction rate

Low ratio of ECC (Parity) disks to data disks means high efficiency

Good aggregate transfer rate

Bad point of raid 5

Disk failure has a medium impact on throughput

Most complex controller design

Difficult to rebuild in the event of a disk failure (as compared to RAID level 1)

Individual block data transfer rate same as single disk
