VR-Zone first revealed
Nvidia's plan to shift from 65nm to 55nm to lower costs and we have also
told you a series of
55nm based mobile graphics GPUs based on G94b and G96b. Now we learned that
the first desktop graphics card to be based on 55nm G92b core will be GeForce
9800 GT and it will be launched in July along with GeForce 9900 series. 9800 GT will support Hybrid Power.

I guess it will be in line of 9800GTX.. with clocks bumped due to 55nm ![]() And there are talks of 9800GX2 EOL... so 55nm 9900GX2 with higher clocks can be a possibility too. But I would like to see a architecture revamp in June/July. Whole G80>>>G92 has been around for long and getting boring. ![]() But then off course, this are my guesses or wishes ![]() |
