No doubt the ASUS P5WH is faster, having had bad luck with it, and no higher Multiplier available on the DFI 975X Infinity, it was definitely time to pay the Intel Bad Axe D975XBX Motherboard another visit! Both Cross-Fire and SLI were ran! Cross-Fire with Catalyst 6.6, SLI with modded 84.66 Forceware to run SLI on Intel Chipset flawlessly!

Thx!!
I've asked DFI if the new bios would enable higher multiplier above 11x for the X6800 stepping 5 but it seems it wouldn't so I'm laying off till that option's available. Would suck to discover that all i get is a correct cpu speed readout at bootup screen

BTW impressive results once and again, any chance of picking some LN2 and go after Coolaler and the Japs in SuperPi?

Heard rumours a while back that in the initial stage of designing the Bad Axe, nice rewards were given to the engineers who could incorporate good overclocking features into the board. I guess the rewards must be really attractive looking at the results

03 like how it was during FX benching days, gotta back down on cpu.

And somehow i think 01 doesn't use dual core much in the graphics drivers, or more like the graphics aren't stressed much so lesser work for the second core to do. I could easily tell from the graphics temps, much colder benchin 01 than 06/03. so 01 u can prolly bench very close to pi 1m stable speeds. i think pi stable 1m on this cpu under cascade is close to 4.9ghz
