Sony Electronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd today unveiled its new sub-brand for flat-panel liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions with the “BRAVIA“ family. BRAVIA (Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture) represents Sony’s vision of providing products with superior resolution for the digital and flat panel era. All BRAVIA models benefit from Sony’s technological know-how: screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels equivalent to 1 megapixel resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, 8-millisecond response time and a contrast ratio of up to 1300:1. The new Sony BRAVIA line is available in screen sizes from 15 inches to 40 inches, which can either be hung on a wall with an optional mounting bracket or placed on a supplied table stand.
