The EOS Rebel T2i / EOS 550D (naming depends on market) popped up today with a whole list of new features. These include full manual 1080p HD video recording, a new 3-inch 1040k LCD screen, 63-zone metering system that first featured in the EOS 7D, redesigned buttons, 5-stop exposure compensation... and a 18-megapixel CMOS sensor.

Canon Singapore has unveiled eight new LEGRIA video camcorders that promise superior High Definition image quality and usability to its consumers. The video camcorders will be availabile from end of this month and next month.

Canon has recently launched their free Easy-Photo-Print app that allows iPhone and iPod Touch owners to print their pictures to compatible Canon PIXMA printers wirelessly. Simply download the Easy-Photo-Print app from the app store via iTunes and you're ready to print.

Canon has launched two new multimedia projectors for the photographers and AV specialists - XEED WUX10 Mark II and XEED SX80 Mark II. The two LCOS projectors come with "Photo Image" and "DICOM Simulation" modes for stellar colour reproduction and medical-grade precision.

Today, Canon announced their new EOS-1D Mark IV digital SLR camera designed for photojournalists, sports and events photographers. In Singapore, the manufacturer held an event and treated the local media a hands-on of the new product.

 

Canon has just introduced the next evolution in the EOS 1D series of cameras: the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV Digital SLR camera.

The Mark IV sports a 16-megapixel Canon CMOS APS-H sensor, dual DIGIC 4 image processors, 14-bit A/D data conversion, ISO range (expanded) from 50 to 102,400, and an all-new 45-point AF sensor with 39 cross points and revised AF tracking, paired with a continuous high-speed shooting rate of 10 frames per second. And of course, HD video recording is in this camera.

Canon Singapore unveiled their latest digital imaging products at Capella in Sentosa this afternoon including the LEGRIA HF S11 video camcorder, touchscreen IXUS 200 IS, features-full PowerShot S90 digital camera, and the professional EOS 7D digital SLR cameras.

It was just few days ago when the pics and specifications of the Canon EOS 7D digital SLR camera were leaked on a Chinese forum. However, it seems that the product has become official as per today from the manufacturer's website. Check out the press release on this mid-range digital SLR.
