Cooler Master's gaming brand – CM Storm – keeps on expanding its range of products and its latest addition is the Sonuz gaming headset which is a simpler, more affordable option than the Sirus. For starters, the Sonuz is a stereo headset rather than a surround sound model like the Sirus, although it does have a few selling points of its own.
CoolerMaster is a highly popular company among enthusiasts, with their reputation coming from their extensive line-up of computer chassis, power supplies and cooling solutions. However, lately CoolerMaster has been adding a lot of new products to their Storm series, their gaming peripherals line-up. Today we will have a close look on the latest mechanical keyboard from CoolerMaster, which the company baptized the “Trigger”, which is clearly aiming towards hardcore gamers and mainly of the FPS kind.
It's been quite a few years since we last saw a watercooling solution in retail from Cooler Master, despite the company demoing various solutions over the past two years at all the major trade shows. Now the company has finally decided to make a return to the watercooling business, initially in Europe only with its new Eisberg series of coolers.
With several recently announced monster cases – or Ultra Towers as Cooler Master prefers – such as the Cosmos II, the company was demoing its first high-end mini-ITX chassis at CeBIT last week, the Elite 120. The cube shaped case doesn't really stand out from the crowd in terms of design, in fact it looks a lot like some of Silver Stone's mATX cubes, but Cooler Master has done a pretty decent job on small chassis.
Besides an onslaught of new motherboards, the other big thing at CeBIT this year appears to be new chassis. Cooler Master had a few new models on display – of which a few were current models in new colours – but one that caught our eye was the Siliencio 650 which has some rather interesting features of which one is unique to this case as far as we're aware.
CoolerMaster has a long standing reputation as a power supply designer and manufacturer, much of which came from their Silent Pro M series. The Silent Pro M series saw the light of day a little over 3 years ago and, as the series name suggests, the units were designed with optimum acoustics performance in mind, quickly making them a favorite among enthusiasts who cared about silent operation. A few weeks ago the curiosity of enthusiasts was stirred by the news stating that CoolerMaster was preparing the 2nd generation of Silent Pro power supplies. Today the wait is over; the Silent Pro M2 1000W arrived in VR-Zone’s labs for thorough testing and review.
Last Friday, 50 VRForums enthusiasts in Singapore were invited to a dinner event in celebration of Cooler Master's 20th Anniversary. Besides the mandatory sumptuous buffet spread, the attendees had the opportunity see and try out current and upcoming products like the behemoth COSMOS II tower and QuickFire Pro (Red) mechanical keyboard.
Coolermaster today launched an update of one of the world's most famous PSU series - the Silent Pro. The company claims that the Silent Pro M2 is improved in every aspect and that it has been designed to meet the broad needs of enthusiasts and mainstream users alike. The power supplies will feature a single 12V line, modular cabling and a number of thermal/acoustic performance improvements.

We have previously previewed the 1000W model of the upcoming 80 Plus Silver rated Silent Pro M2 series from Cooler Master.
