Taiwanese maker of cases Compucase (HEC) has a new Cougar-branded 'Super Mid Tower' planned for the European market next month. Swedish-based Fractal Design has launched the Core 1000 PC chassis, targeting mainstream users. Measuring 175 x 355 x 420mm and weighing 4.1kg, the all-black chassis has sufficient room for two 3.5" HDDs (or three 2.5" SSDs), two optical devices, four PCIe slots, demountable HDD tray with anti-vibration silicone grommets, and a side mounted I/O panel with two USB 2.0 ports and audio connectors. It is preinstalled with one 140mm fan (top) and supports up to an additional three fans (x1 120mm front, x1 92mm rear, & x1 120mm side). The Core 1000 PC chassis is expected to start shipping soon.

SilverStone Technology, manufacturer of high-end computer cases, power supplies, and other peripherals for PCs, has updated its line-up of Raven chassis with the release of the RV03B-W. Measuring 235 x 522 x 570mm and weighing 11.4kg, the tower case has room for up to seven 5.25" optical devices, ten 3.5" HDDs, two 2.5" HDDs/ SSDs, and eight expansion cards. It also supports all motherboards (up to extended ATX), graphic accelerators longer than 13", and boasts a smart cable management system. The RV03B-W, pre-installed with two bottom-placed 180mm Air Penetrator fans (1,200RPM), accomodates up to seven 120mm fans and is available through authorized resellers and e-tailers at a MSRP of 117.20 Euro come 25 April 2011.
Cooler Master has unveiled the HAF 932 Advanced Case, further expanding its HAF series of chassis first introduced in 2008.
German-based Sharkoon Technologies has expanded its line-up of PC chassis with the addition of the AL2 and AL4. Similiar in designs, the AL2 (395 x 375 x 180mm) supports all mini-ITX and micro ATX motherboards while the bigger AL4 (480 x 192 x 430mm) can fit full-sized ATX boards.
