Eurocom has just formally introduced its latest mobile powerhouse, the Panther 4.0 which is based on Intel's X79 / Sandy Bridge-E platform with the option of a Core i7 3960X Processor Extreme ticking things over at rapid pace.
Eurocom, which specializes in desktop replacements, has cracked the 3TB storage barrier on a single laptop by cramming up to four laptop hard drives in its mobile server and mobile workstation lines.
High capacity laptop drives typically require three platters, resulting in a thicker drive. However, not only has Seagate managed to pack 750GB in two platters (and hence a standard 9.5mm drive height) in its latest Momentus, the ST9750420AS, the drive has a rotational speed of 7200rpm too. With massive storage capacity and speed, virtualization and cloud computing are just some of the tasks that can be done with Eurocom's new high powered mobile solutions.
Eurocom's new line of gamer-friendly notebooks features NVIDIA's Optimus technology, which intelligently and seamlessly switches between the discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and the integrated Intel HD Graphics to deliver optimal battery life (up to 240 minutes).
The FOX line also offers a choice of 15.6" (the B5100M FOX model) and 17.3" (B7110M FOX model) Full HD 1920 x 1080 displays and is configurable with Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
