Foxconn Quantum Force X79 Motherboard (Final) Pictured

Foxconn Quantum Force X79 Motherboard (Final) Pictured

Here are the first pictures of the Foxconn Quantum Force X79 in a form that’s almost ready for market. Quantum Force is Foxconn’s brand that targets the “gamer-overclocker” market, the same one that ASUS’ Republic of Gamers, Gigabyte’s G1.Killer, and ASRock’s Fatal1ty Professional motherboards target. Foxconn also has a knack of surprising some (pleasantly) with the pricing of these boards compared to others in the segment. Foxconn Quantum Force X79 New Version Pictured

Having first made waves at this year's Computex, it's time for Foxconn's premium socket LGA2011 motherboard, the Quantum Force X79, to get down to business. Lucky enough, we have spotted a great looking black and red themed board in one of the darkest rooms within COMPUTEX and this somehow rekindles our memories back to the days of first black and red board from Foxconn Quantum Force series : BloodRage. It is certainly pleasing to hear that Foxconn is determined to get back on track with their Quantum Force brand and will put up their best showing it with their X79 boards. There are also 14 SATA ports, the most we have seen so far among the rest of the other brands X79 boards. This quad channel memory, quad PCIe x16 slots beast is slated for launch in Q4 this year and will clearly get some enthusiasts excited. Updated with some key features of this board.
