Samsung has unveiled their latest R0 (YP-R0) multimedia player in Korea which supports both audio and video playback, and comes with a microSD card slot for expansion. The R0 comes in three colors - black, silver and pink - and feature a 2.6-inch TFT LCD screen and DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology.

Sony has recently introduced their SMP-U10 which claims to be the maker's first USB media player to provide near high definition quality movie viewing. The portable player supports various file formats including DivX, MP3, WMA, AAC, MPEG1,2,4, VOB and JPEG, and 1080p upscaling video output via HDMI connection.

Today, Viewsonic announced their new VPD400 media player designed for high definition videos viewing on the move. The media player features a 4.3-inch LCD screen, 8GB internal memory, microSD card expansion slot and boasts up to six hours of video play time.

The ASUS O!Play Air HDP-R3 is the latest media player with wireless streaming for users to access their digital content conveniently. It can stream audio, photo and even high-definition videos from PCs, networked attached storage and other USB devices, and claims to deliver up to 1080p Full HD image rendering.
