DFI announces Intel Atom-based Mini-ITX motherboard: NP100-N16C

DFI has announced a new fanless Mini-ITX motherboard - NP100-N16C. This motherboard utilizes a 45nm Intel® Atom™ N270 processor (1.6GHz clock, 533MHz system bus) with the Intel® 945GSE Express chipset and ICH7M I/O controller hub. Exhibiting a processor thermal design power (TDP) of just 2.5 watts, this value-optimized platform provides higher performance-per-watt than previous Intel x86 mobile platforms.

Coolermaster To Demo 20 Cores PC @ CeBIT

Coolermaster will be demonstrating a 20 cores PC over at CeBIT next month. The system is powered by 5 Core 2 Quad Q9400s processors on 5 mini-ITX boards using just a PSU, with all packed inside a ATCS 840 chassis. The PSU is Real Power M1000W with 6 x 12v+ rails each fully utilized (1 for each system and 1 for the 5 x ODD plus 5 x HDD).  The system comes with 10GB memories (2GB per board), 3 x 200mm fans plus 1 x 120mm fan, 5 x water pumps with 1 radiator.
