This afternoon, Sony held a VAIO Spring launch in Singapore, showcasing their latest VAIO notebook PCs - VAIO E, VAIO W, VAIO S, VAIO F and the new flagship VAIO Z series.
Today, Dell held a regional media event in Singapore, showcasing their latest products which include the Adamo XPS, Studio XPS 8100, Inspiron One 19 and Inspiron Zino HD. There is also a new Alienware gaming laptop, which would be revealed tomorrow.

Today, Samsung unveiled their latest products which consist of the R series laptops that feature good performance and stylish design; the portable N series netbooks with impressive battery life; and the G series external hard drives for users to backup their data.
Just a day after Apple has announced their new iPad tablet, the maker is having some legal issues over the name with Fujitsu. Apparently, the Japanese manufacturer has designed a handheld product in 2002 with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and VoIP, called iPad.

Apple's CEO Steve Jobs took stage this morning and unveiled the new touchscreen multimedia tablet. No, its not the iSlate or iTablet, but its dubbed the iPad. The 9.7-inch tablet lets you surf the web, do emails, play photos, videos and music, games and even read e-books. From US$499, the iPad is simply a larger version of their iPhone as it is running iPhone OS.
(And yes, some folks have been making fun of its name using comparisons to the sanitary ones. You know who you are.)
According to web sources, publisher McGraw-Hill was reportedly saying Apple will be unveiling their new Tablet at their event in San Francisco on 27th Jan (tomorrow morning Singapore time). It seems that the publisher has been working with Apple on a tablet for some time.
Today, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific announced their new Lifebooks for this season which are equipped with the latest Intel Core processor technology. The stylish models include the SH760 and SH560, P770, LH700, MH380 and T900.
This afternoon, Intel Singapore held a media event to announce their new Core processor family as well as the inclusion of their proprietary Turbo Boost Technology for laptops, desktops and embedded devices.
