Zalman launches new PSUs



Zalman has officially unveiled the ZM500-ST (500W model) and ZM600-ST (600W model). Both are non-modular and feature dual +12V rails, ultra quiet 120mm fans, all sleeved cables, two-forward switching circuit design, support for dual graphics cards and are 80Plus certified with a maximum efficiency of 80 percent. Targeting the mainstream market, both ZM500-ST and ZM600-ST are competitively priced and according to Zalman, they have the best price/performance ratio in the market. Backed by a 3 year warranty, they will be widely available in Korea soon although it is unclear when it will be arrive in Europe or the USA.

XFX 850W Black Edition PSU Officially Unveiled @ Computex

XFX today has officially unveiled their 850W Black Edition PSU sporting a cool lime green/black color combo. XFX still declined to comment on the innards of the PSU but the recent leaked specs have shown that it is equipped with Japanese brand capacitors, solid polymer caps, and +/-3% voltage regulation. The PSU comes with single +12V rail with a 70Amp/840W rating, 8 Molex connectors as well as a 135mm ball bearing fan. This PSU is expected to be retailed for USD 249-299.
