Today, Research in Motion has officially announced the launch of their BlackBerry App store in Singapore and Indonesia. Users can search and download huge range of free applications to their handset, including those built specifically for the region.

Adobe has rolled out their Flash Player 10.1 software for smartphones, smartbooks, netbooks, PCs and other Internet-connected devices. And Research In Motion (RIM) has announced the collaboration with Adobe to bring full Flash player to their BlackBerry mobile devices too.

Mac users who also own a BlackBerry can now sync data from their Mac to the handheld device with the new BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac. Best of all, the software is free for download and will be available from October 2 (1pm EDT).

Research in Motion (RIM) has introduced the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone which would be available in Singapore end of October.  It touts itself as the first BlackBerry smartphone to feature dedicated media keys and touch-sensitive trackpad for great ease of use.

U2 fans with Blackberry smartphones can now enjoy a better album experience with the new U2 mobile application. You can easily access the content including photos, videos, interviews and even samples of the songs from the group.
