Scythe has announced the Kamazo 2 series of external enclosures for 2.5” SATA HDD and SSD.  Available in 3 variants, the Kamazo 2 series are compatible with both SATA and IDE HDD/SSD and sports either a USB 2.0 port and/or eSATA for external connectivity.

Scythe has unveiled 2 new “basic” CPU coolers based on the Katana 3 released in March 2009. Both coolers, measuring 94 x 108 x 143mm and weighing 495g, are similar in specifications and performance with the exception of their mounting systems. The Katana 3 "Type A" (SCKTN-3000A) is compatible with AMD 754, 939, 940, AM2(+), AM3 sockets while "Type I" (SCKTN-3000I) is compatible with Intel LGA 775, 1156 and 1366 sockets.

Scythe has released the Kama Stay (SCKST-1000), a simple metal frame that takes up 1 PCI slot and allows users to mount extra fans and/or hard/solid state drives. Measuring 295×34x153mm and weighing 330g, the Kama Stay can accommodate 2 80~140mm fans or/and up to 3 2.5” hard drives.
