One area where SilverStone appears to be spending a lot of resources is in PC accessories and no, we're not talking about mice and keyboards etc. but rather about various add-in cards and other interesting little trinkets. At CeBIT the company was showing off some new USB 3.0 host controllers and some internal USB 3.0 card readers that we took a quick look at.
One area where SilverStone has struggled a bit in past is when it comes to cost, as most of its chassis have been quite expensive. As such the company was working on a new series for the Chinese market that the company has now decided to launch globally which will be known as the Red Line series.
There's no denying that SilverStone comes up with some of the most innovative case designs in the market and the FT03 – also known as the Fortress – is possibly its most unusual case to date. At CeBIT the company was showing off a mini-ITX version of the FT03 simply called the FT03-mini which radically shrinks the chassis.
Silverstone has released the hard drive pad SD01, which is stackable and compatible with SATA or SAS hard drives at up to 6Gbps speed.

SilverStone Technology, manufacturer of high-end computer cases, power supplies, and other peripherals for PCs, has updated its line-up of Raven chassis with the release of the RV03B-W. Measuring 235 x 522 x 570mm and weighing 11.4kg, the tower case has room for up to seven 5.25" optical devices, ten 3.5" HDDs, two 2.5" HDDs/ SSDs, and eight expansion cards. It also supports all motherboards (up to extended ATX), graphic accelerators longer than 13", and boasts a smart cable management system. The RV03B-W, pre-installed with two bottom-placed 180mm Air Penetrator fans (1,200RPM), accomodates up to seven 120mm fans and is available through authorized resellers and e-tailers at a MSRP of 117.20 Euro come 25 April 2011.
