Well-known flash storage and memory maker Super Talent is preparing to introduce its CoreStore line-up of SSDs. Featuring mini PCIe/ PCIe interfaces, they boast a Marvell 88NV9143 controller, MLC (multi-level cell) or SLC (single-level cell) NAND flash memory, and support data transfer rates up to 350Mb/s (read) and 80Mb/s (write) for MLC models and 350Mb/s (read) and 220Mb/s (write) for SLC variants. The CoreStore SSDs are available in capacities ranging from 16Gb to128Gb.
Super Talent Technology has launched the DataGuardian, an affordable secure flash drive for the mainstream users. Available in 4Gb, 8Gb and 16Gb variants, these USB 2.0 compact flash drives boast a password system and are able to block auto-play malware attacks.
