It has been 9 months since we had the opportunity to examine and review one of Thermaltake’s best CPU coolers, the Frio, which was one of the best air coolers available at that time. Thermaltake has been a company which traditionally tries to satisfy even the most hardcore of enthusiasts and they almost never are bewildered by high performance alone. That and the heavy competition at the top segment of the CPU cooler market led Thermaltake to release the Frio Extreme, a completely redesigned CPU cooler, teeming with features and boasting ultimate performance. The company has supplied us with a sample which is going to be thoroughly examined and tested in this review.

Last week at CeBIT, Thermaltake officially unveiled the Level 10 M mouse which the company co-designed with BMW Designworks USA to much fanfare and the feature laden mouse does stand out from the crowd in more than one way. Sadly Thermaltake wasn't ready for hands on time, but we did at least manage to snap a couple of shots of the new mouse.

We're not sure this was the smartest move in history, but Luxa², a division of Thermaltake has sent out its press release about its new iPhone 5 cases showing off a total of 13 different designs. Although the images doesn't give away too much in terms of details, there's one front shot of a dummy unit which suggests that Apple decided to keep the round button for at least one of its rumoured two new models that are expected to launch later today US time.

Most enthusiasts would remember the astonishing “Level 10” case which Thermaltake co-designed with BMW Group Design Works USA and released a couple of years ago. Whoever remembers the (otherwise remarkable) Level 10 case also remember the ludicrous price tag which kept the sales of the product very, very low. Thermaltake is a company very well known among enthusiasts. Ever since the founding of the company, they primarily focused on cooling related products. It might be hard to believe but today, 12 years after Thermaltake was founded, we are going to review the first CPU cooler Thermaltake designed with overclocking in mind.
