XFX Radeon HD 6870 Pictured

Hardware.info have published pictures of XFX's version of AMD's upcoming Radeon HD 6870. The reference design holds no surprises, and is identical to the previously leaked picture. The card looks most similar to the Radeon HD 5850 - dual slot cooler with a similar length of around 9.5". The smooth "Batmobile" contours, however, have been replaced with boxy ridges. Unlike the Radeon HD 5800 cards, the HD 6800 features a single CF connector, enabling only 2-way Crossfire. Two 6-pin PCI-e connectors are provided, though TDP is expected to be around the 150W mark.

XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition released exclusively at Newegg

XFX's quite insane Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition 4GB is finally here, several months after similarly insane Sapphire Toxic 5970 4GB and Asus ARES. The XFX 5970 BE boasts similar specifications to the above mentioned competitors, with 850 MHz core, 1200 MHz 2x2GB memory. XFX offers full Eyefinity6, with 6 mini-DP outputs. While the ARES briefcase is impressive, some might suggest it doesn't hold a candle to the XFX 5970 BE's snazzy P90 machine gun case.
